Richard Arthur
Managing Director
From first joining the ANZ Bank back in 1979 I have spent over 40 years in the finance and service industry, the last 20 years specializing in mortgage broking. Being one of the founding directors of Connected Home Loans back in 2006 I’m proud of being part of a business that prides itself on putting its clients first and doing its best to achieve their goals no matter how difficult the challenge may be. These days my role is mainly managerial however I do have a level of experience in finance my team can draw upon when required.
My personal time is mainly spent with family and friends. As a member of the Tea Tree Gully Golf Club, I enjoy playing golf or a least trying to and my wife and I at this time in our lives are taking the opportunity to travel as much as our jobs will allow, which we both greatly enjoy.
Hayley Walsh
Senior Lending Specialist
I first started in the mortgage industry when I joined Connected Home Loans in 2007. Now with over 16 years’ experience as a professional Mortgage Broker I have grown to love the industry. People that know me will all agree that apart from being a little outgoing and liking a chat that I am very passionate if not obsessed about what I do. Whether it’s helping a home buyer getting into their first home or a seasoned investor getting their next investment property I’m committed to giving my clients the best finance experience possible which I believe I deliver with a simple and easy to understand approach regardless of how difficult their loan may be.
In my personal time I love spending time with my family and friends. I have two adult children and three beautiful grandchildren to whom I love being their Nanna. I also have a passion for travel, whether that be overseas or in my camper trailer exploring our beautiful country.
Korey Cahill
Lending Specialist
My working life has been centred around my passion for customer service and meeting and exceeding people’s expectations. This has given me a strong analytical mindset, enabling me to approach challenges with a strategic perspective which I love. I now have over six years as a professional Mortgage Broker, and during that time I have developed an understanding of the financial landscape coupled with a keen ability and desire to meet the unique needs and requirements that my clients both have and demand.
Outside of work I enjoy being involved in the thoroughbred racing industry with ownership in a few horses myself, however my main passion in life is family and I can think of nothing better than to be watching my sons playing football on the weekends.
Riza Cuizon
Administration Officer
As the business’ administration officer my role is to keep the “wheels in motion” and everything running smoothly. I have a strong work ethic and am always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. I have a drive to learn better ways to do my job more efficiently which I believe helps me grow both professionally and personally. My passion is customer service as I believe “clients are for life” so I will do everything possible to make their loan process experience as good as possible.
In my personal time I love to spend it with family and friends, going to the beach and travelling.
Christy Smeaton
Asset and Business Lending Specialist
I am a 26-year-old broker with three years of experience, specialising in business, asset, and commercial loans. My passion for customer service and business drives me to help clients achieve their goals, whether it's acquiring their dream car or establishing their dream business. I hold a Cert IV in Mortgage and Finance Broking as well as a diploma, and I am always eager to study and learn more throughout my career.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending it with my 1-year-old daughter, 3-year-old Frenchie, and fiancé. I also have a passion for soccer and Pilates and continue to juggle a busy work and social life but would never change it.
